A bad half season does not make a bad player. David Silva has had a poor half season, in a similar period as Stewart, I don't think many would recommend Man City getting shot of him for a quick profit.

We know he is capable of playing great football - and I think Barmby is a great manager for him to develop under. I'd love to see him starting for us in the first game next season.

David Silva has had more than 5 good games in his career though.
 
despite stewarts poor 2nd half of the season, i still think hes the best out of the 3 and i still get more hopeful when he has the ball at his feet then the other 2...id rather lose both of them and keep him , but would like to keep king as well if possible, unsure about brady

But how many times have we seen Stewart skin a player regularly this season? Fair enough he did it on Tuesday night against Barnsley and created a goal, but for me thats the first thing he has contributed in the past 3 weeks. Stewart doesnt get back enough and tends to stay upfield.

For me Brady offers more for the team, he isnt afraid to run at people and get stuck in, he gets back and helps Rosie out defensivley and can play well on both wings.

King has raw power and speed and can easily out sprint and out power most defenders in this division and also helps the defence out more, so for me they are both better than Stewart at the moment

Agree with that. He has the talent but he alse puts the effort in which is what has set him apart from Stewart lately. He doesn't do everything right but he's got all the right ingredients to have a really good time next year.

If we can afford to start bringing in proven wingers at this level who are doing well at lesser clubs, for example someone like George Boyd then by all means let Brady and Stewart go, but since we probably have very little chance of signing someone proven like that, then what is the point in going for some gamble on a young winger when we've already got 2 here on loan who know the team and the system and can only get better next year?

If we choose not to sign either of them, I'd expect us to sign someone noticably better, and I don't think that's easy.
 
For me Stewart is either playing like he doesn't want to get injured or because he doesn't want to be here. It's very hard to tell.
 
Stewart's performances started to look irregular since Boro away, he played quality against Derby away and Leicester at home and all games in between, did Boro's fullback Hoyte clatter him hard, if so it may be why he isn't as determined to get the ball as much, I'm not saying his form is acceptable but you have to feel for him, 20 years old and was out for ages with a serious injury, he may have been up for it 100% against Derby like his usual self because he is a good player and wanted to fire us to promotion, then he realised another hard knock could injure him again, just look at Hargreaves
