haha!!! :emoticon-0102-bigsm

i loved that game! it was the first home game i'd got to in years, it was brilliant

'We're in the top 6, we're in the top 6, Jose Enrique! We're in the top 6'

I think Santon is extremely close to being better than him now. Some games Davide is streets ahead.

Jose is better defensively no question but santon takes it going forward.... On a side note did anyone see hba nutmeg today and think that the space for the ball to go through was in fact smaller than the ball.... He does things like magic sometimes......in fact I made a complaint to nufc because I want him to slow down so I can see and work out exactly how he does it.....

Jose took a long time to settle but once he had he was ace. He started strongly at Liverpool but faded badly towards the end of last season, genuinely think he made a mistake moving.

As a left back, Jose takes it as a full back Santon takes it.

If you put a player on his natural foot who knows what he can do.

Jose was a great player for us, he stuck with us when we were relegated, and the reaction from players and fans when he scored against Nottingham Forest has to be one of my favourite Newcastle moments, because at that time everyone loved him and everyone wanted him to get that goal.

He didn't respect the Club by engineering a move away in the way that he did, and he made - in what only hindsight allows us to say - a foolish comment about us not ever being a Top 6 team again.

But while I feel a bit aggrieved by the manner in which he left the Club, I am not sure he deserves the stick he sometimes gets. He was an important player for us and sometimes it feels like people forget this.

And I agree with Haslam, I think he has made a mistake moving to Liverpool. But again maybe that is something that can only be said in hindsight after the poor season last year as I don't think he, or anyone really, could have seen that coming.

They loved him at Liverpool in the first half of the season but his performances (and their view of him) waned later on. There's talk of him being dropped for a few games this season and he doesn't seem to be one of BR's favourites. Based on what he's shown BR so far I'm not surprised he's not in the team but he should be at or around his peak now and i think we should be looking to 'bring him home' of he's regularly out of the Liverpool team. His wages could be a block though...

He lost his place to Martin Kelly today? Cheeky 5mil bid for him in Jan??? hahaha

<rofl>

I've never seen someone set themselves up for a fail as well as poor Jose (unless Tulisa happened to set up the cameras and show the disgruntled customer how to upload video to youtube).... His international career wouldn't have advanced unless Barca wanted him to be honest, but he's won his cup medal (just... against Cardiff), so maybe he's happy...

They rather put Glen Johnson at LB and Kelly at RB. To be honest, the second half of his last season for us, it was clear his mind wasn't in it. He was playing poorly for us, doing stupid things like dribbling the ball in circles(akin to what Tiote did against Norwich) and I wasn't too happy, but we didn't even have another LB. He is a physical specimen of a LB but now that he doesn't seem to figure in Liverpool plans, too bad for him! Wrong move much
