Is he training with the first team? Is he training with Charlton at all, anyone know?

On ITTV last night there was what appeared to be an internet post of some sort talking about respect being mutual.

If that was genuine it would seem that things have gone too far

Send my early Christmas wishes to Ivor and gang please Mr Landlord.

I still think he could do a job for us given the right man management, but sadly, that does sound like a player who wants to be anywhere but Charlton if it's true. Better to part ways than to cling on to hopes, and free up some space for that amazing Liverpool player who couldn't get a start of Kilmarnock Dick Plumb was talking about.

We should not have signed Williams in the first place for 3 reasons.
1 Ex palice
2 Too injury prone
3 He's Welsh

Players I would like to see leave in the Summer. Williams, Maddison, Oztumer, Forster-Caskey, Bogle.
Midfield needs looking at big time. We have no goal threat. We also need more pace in the side. Obviously goal scoring needs looking at.

That's the one I was thinking of.

As you say it's genuine, the next question is what support JW has in the dressing room.

A crisis could be imminent.
According to a poster on ITTV who has a decent record he has support in the dressing room, and they aren't all Welsh. I imagine things have gone too far, but I'd like to know where he is, and how the whole public naming and shaming business has affected the squad. Is Bowyer trying to brush it off? Has he owned up to his error in any way? The last manager I can remember to do this was Andy Nelson, and he went from being revered to being called the Ayatollah by the players, and the fans calling for his head.

The best solution would have been for a bit of a discussion between the two - Bowyer needed to admit the substitution and the following press complaint were an erroe, and Williams could admit he should have made the tackle. But if this is now happening on social media, it'll be hard to get a step backwards. I still think the manager has to be in charge, but in my opinion he made a mistake with this.
Wimbledon will be looking forward to saturday - if they go ahead we could go into meltdown on and off the pitch.

ITTApologist having decent posters<laugh>? They have all been banned or defected to here. Thus explaining the surge in membership figures.

Respect has to be earned?
That's a bit rich from what I've heard.

I haven't seen it, but didn't JW jump out of a tackle?
How are Charlton fans supposed to feel about that? The same as his manager I should think. And the word 'respect' doesn't come to mind.

Did LB ever jump out of a tackle in his footballing life? I doubt it.
Don't whine about respect JW when you've disrespected the shirt - and got called out for it.

If TS has to sack Bowyer because of poor results & form it will be a shame on many levels.
LB is one of the last of the old school.
