I don't get to away games but do watch them in pub , but shoot me down if what i'm saying is bollocks. It seems to me that all his best games are at home. Can't really remember a great game he has had away. I would keep him but only play him at home and put him on the bench away. I would play Ben Arfa there away from home.

8m is a lot of money though and i can see Ashley taking it!

It's not much though from someone that Maradonna said was his first name on the team sheet with Messi!!

I like him tbh, i know his delivery is poor at best but he is dangerous with the ball and he does win us countless free-kicks in good positions.

Defo keep him untill we an sign a better option

8m is over-priced to be honest, but it's a great price for a 27 year old inconsistent Premier League winger.

He'll suit the Seria A perfectly.

I would say keep him as a sub, as he can cover both wings easily.

My first choice midfield would be

-----------Tiote-----------
Barton--Nolan--Ireland*--HBA

With Guti, Gosling and the youngsters on the bench

*if he leaves, then Vuckic here or Gosling on the right and Barton here

Kazenga plays on the left doesn't he? Despite what others say, I think Jonas is too good to be cover, so I guess it would depend on how good Kazenga Lua Lua is.. if he can do it, Jonas can go if he wants

He's a hard worker, a good player, we have few wingers and we are hardly massively in need of £8m when we just got £35m for Carroll, so a definite no for me

Ferguson plays there as well, as possibly can Vuckic (although he is probably better in the centre), so with 4 players able to play there, is he surplus to requirements???

The thing about selling players like Jonas is that our players may think that we are just gunna accept every bid for our good players and may want to move on themselves

For me, I wud not be dissapointed if we did sell him, but if he stays then I would also be fine with that :)

Why in the name of god would we wnat to sell him. He a genuinely good premier league player. Always fit to play and works his bollocks off, throws in as many decent balls as Milner and N'Zogbia ever did and costs half as much. We don't even know if Ben Arfa will be any good, and Ferguson is no where near ready.

Why don't we get rid of some players who aren't really much use to us (RTaylor, Lov'krands, Sol and Xisco) and sign some others (preferably who are fit) to help the ones like Jonas who we need to keep.

Dont sell him you know how long it took me to come up with this Username till i changed to Nolans_Overhead_Kick in appreciation of that goal against 5cumder1and

Good with the ball, wins free kicks, great dressing room and squad member, and can bring through the youngsters suchs as ferguson and lualua, definitly a keeper

His work rate is great and he's prepared to run his socks off every week. That plus he gets on great with Jose and they link up well together. Definite keep for me.

he is a frustrating player at times, but he does put his shift, a bit like milner use to, tracking back, tackles etc..

the only difference between them was milner was a little bit of a better crsser and bit of a better shooter also...

so no, keep.
