I'd never heard of John Bond until this week. The first Norwich manager I was really conscious of was Mike Walker. Nice thread this, My old man liked Bond because he was often in the National news and liked the media. I didn't hear anything on Five Live about it in the news (may have missed it), which would be a shame because he was certainly of prestige when managing.
Yep, it is a nice thread and over 100 posts thus far. A fitting tribute to a man who is considered by many as the best manager we've ever had because of the way he transformed our club. It was he who established City as a top flight club and those foundations laid ensured that we only spent three seasons outside of the top division between 1972 and 1995, bouncing straight back after all three relegations
