Sorry, that was an insensitive way to ask the question. I don't know who he was but condolences to his family. RIP
Swords, you really are a pork chop at a Jewish wedding! That's the thanks I get for speaking up for you, when others were pointing out it was only a matter of time! Words fail me!
You should use Wikipedia He's filed under "better managers that QPR can only dream of" Veiled disrespect for the dead, I've said things about QPR but do you honestly believe I'd disrespect a legendary manager from your past on the day they died? Your not worth this post, I feel bad I've even typed it out. this isnt the thread for a flame war. You'll never change.
Sorry Dave, I posted without thinking. BTW, there's a thread running on the Saints Board called "Beefy's Corner". He's even got threads dedicated to him on other Forums! Now that IS good!
1 minute's silence tonight, and 1 minute's applause on Saturday! http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...nd_against_doncaster_and_liverpool_1_1530404?
Nice touch to have both - being old school I prefer silences and think tonight would be too early to have a minute's applause anyway. I wouldn't really want to be Doncaster tonight as there's every chance you lot could run riot spurred on by the occasion.
I think it's good we can have both. For the younger generation we have nothing to remember of John Bond while the older generation do but a minutes applause can celebrate what he did do for the club for all generations despite the younger ones who weren't around to see what he did.
Couldn't find anything back in his Norwich days but this is darn good
Nice one JWM Good behind the scenes footage as he became manager at Manchester City. Only £100k compensation for Norwich when he had six years left on his contract! Just shows how mad football has become!
Now you're talkin'! Can't believe I never heard of this guy. True he was slightly before my time but he seems to have been a big hitter in the game.
