I have a problem with 2 regular posters on here (not including 3 or 4 very poor NUFC WUMS), one because most of what he posts seems completely at odds with the opinions of others. The other, because most of it is mindless, thoughtless nonsense.

In your case, ...well I dropped it as I do not see the point of these type of arguments on this forum and decided not to pursue iter and fill this board with things I assume very few have an interest in for no other reason that while I may have aggravated something, I did not wish to take it further.

I'll take all of what you said on board, but your comment on the Gyan thread was wholly unjustified, and i don't feel thre was an argument there.

I was complimentary to all parties, and effectively my point was 'Wellbeck is English therefore he should play for England'.

You stated this was 'the most stupid thing you'd read in a long time'.

How, exactly?

We don't all have to get along, and i certainly won't hold any grudges, or have snipes or any of that, but i do swear, and i will defend myself in any way i see fit.

I was nominated to be a mod, with no input from me whatsoever, as a large portion of the posters felt that i was a good person to do it.

I appreciated the kind words, and greed to do it, i'll even say i felt a bit of joy that the lads had seen fit to put me forward.

I never said i would then dilute my posts, or change my manner, and i never will.

End of.

I don't delete people for swearing, i don't delete posts when people are arguing, and i don't tell people what they can say and do, therefore, i'm moderating in the same manner as i moderate myself, which in my opinion, is the correct way.
 
Can I just butt in for a moment please, not getting into the argument just the moderator comments. I agree that we mods have that little extra responsibility but remember who the mods are. We all joined this forum to support our team, debate, comment, argue and laugh, all the things we supporters do. To help the board to run the way the majority of the board members want it we all agreed to take on the mod role, we never stopped being fans.

I think its very unfair to enter into debate with a fan then when that fan says or does something you dont like throw his mod title at him, tell him he is an idiot, a dickhead or any other term that suits but not moderator.

If we did it the other way round and when the argument was not going the way w like we said, I'm a mod, I think I will ban you, what would you think?

There was plenty to 'dig' at regarding your Danny Welbeck comment, I thought it might divide the board if I started which is the reason I did not pursue the matter. I also considered my language 'stupid' as you have quoted a very poor way to open a debate and would have been flamed for just that, irrespective of the argument - I have dropped it, why haven't you?

Conversely you have abused me and sworn at me here without any just cause. (I won't reply again, as I said earlier, this is not the place for such things)
