If we have 30+% possession per game and a midfield who are loathe to pass the ball forward as opposed to lumping it up to the sole lonely striker and wingers who can’t cross a ball what are people actually expecting?

Joey looks a decent player who, like most strikers, needs service and is in his first year in a foreign country and needs time to adapt and as someone has said somewhere on this board today has replaced our two leading scorers from last season. He will be decent. He is not a Joselu. But he needs support and time.

no point blaming players no matter who its not helpful . you can say a player is crap, but I don't like seeing fans abusing them on twitter and booin at matches that's all. It's certainly acceptable to say joelinton looks like a donkey on here, but 13 years and the fans have blamed anything and everyone and the real issue is called mike and that's where all the abuse should always be until hes gone
