time for kiss of death for joe, will buy an autographed item of his from ebay, then he will be gone like dobbie (not yet anyway), rodgers and dorus

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has not ruled out selling the club's best players if the price is right.

Midfielder Joe Allen has been linked with a move to join former Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool.

Laudrup said he has no intention of selling Allen, 22, but is not surprised that Swansea's best players are targets for other Premier League clubs.

"It's normal there is interest but of course we want to keep our most important players here," he said.

"But it's also a part of football to accept sometimes that people leave when the offer is too big - for the club or for the player."

So, The Price Is Right.

Pi55 off Bluebird and stop posting your usual doom and gloom threads. You've been rumbled so don't bother anymore. We know you aren't one of us

Most fans commenting seem happy to get 15 million for him, so you are in a minority if you think 15 million is doom and gloom.

All these quotes are just because he is kept getting pushed on the issue and he was being as non committal and diplomatic as possible. If you see the whole interview it is not so black and white.

You still here Blub bird ?

You're the minority on here, this is a Premier League site. Do one, we all know you're a Legolander

Agree , he could have been talking about any of our players , I wouldn't be surprised if Joey went but I'd have a smile as wide as the severn estuary if Joe said thanks but no thanks

Can anyone tell me who had the most top flight titles , not counting Liverpool , 25 seasons ago without looking it up ... I'll be interested to see the Rev's answer , if he does .

25 years ago is '87... Liverpool had 16 then, because we had our last in 89-90...

Arsenal had nine or ten, Leeds had a couple, United had a few... Forest had a few, Everton had a few...

I'll go Arsenal...?

I would be very surprised if we did get £15 million for joe ...more like £8 to £10 would be more realistic, but hey if rodgers wants to give us £15 million then who are we to argue......say thank you very much Brendan and say bye bye joe see you at the liberty when we play you.....

Read on Sky Sports that its all down to Joe now. If he wants to go the club won't do a Spurs and keep him against his will or price him out of a move.

So I don't think there will be anything to this deal until after Olympics when Joe gives his decison on the matter in person to Laudrup.

If he says he wants to go I think he'll go for £12m.

I honestly don't think Joe will want to go. Yes, Liverpool ae a big, big club. But, he's a Jack through and through, he's a first team player, and the fans love him. If he went, he has a big fight on his hands, and he will know that. Perhaps it will come down to money, but, I reckon he's in it for the football, and he knows he'll get better with us, quicker, than he would with Pool.

I'd like to think you're right but if the figures being quoted for Joey then he'll play him regardless, otherwise why buy him , Rodgers knows how important he is to us and probably feels that he could be just the same for them
