Lets put things into perspective here, Allen has supposedly put in a transfer request, Swansea like any other team are within their rights to turn this request down. Liverpool are supposed to have put in a bid for Allen which will activate his release clause but since Swansea have a written agreement that Liverpool will not try to buy any of their players for twelve months unless other teams are bidding for the same player the release clause is irrelevant as the bid goes against the written agreement. With this in mind Swansea can ignore both bid and transfer request and make both Allen and Liverpool honour their contract/agreement or if they see a chance to improve the team they may just make the sale, but only if it benefits/suits them. Swansea are in control here.

forget it .... done deal and if he wasn't already at Anfield, HJ would drive him there for £15 mill (not saying he's not worth it, but our previous record sale was £2 mill and we are a club who prides itself on not being in the red!!)

None of the Jacks anger is Liverpools fault. If you have beef its with Rodgers. He's the one who pulls the strings.

Liverpool have forced nothing as a club. Our Manager has done what he believes he is entitled to do given the structure of Allen's contract.

If he didn't think this, he would not have approached Allen unless another team had a bid accepted I reckon.

Everyone can now see who Rodgers and Liverpool really are. Live with it.

I don't get why Swans fans are upset with Rodgers over this. When we first got him they were laughing because the system they play in was implemented by Martinez.

He had an interest in one of his former players and decided to bring him along, helping his old club with a massive transfer fee all while getting a player he rates very highly.

He signed an agreement then went back on it, courting through the press and using insider knowledge of his contract.
What's hard to understand?
Act like a conniving **** be treated like one

Personally, I haven't seen the contract he signed with Swans that stipulated that he couldn't sign any of his former players.

Post a link to this Tw, it was a verbal agreement between two men(Jenkins and Rodgers)wasn't it?

By the way, has any of you actually "seen" any contract agreed by LFC or any of the club's staff ever?

Do you honestly expect me or anyone else to post an image of or a link to a legally binding contract made between 2 private enterprises.
Shall I go through all of your threads demanding to see hard evidence regarding any assertion any of you make?

For ****'s sake, this isn't a court of law! It's somewhere people come to talk about football!

So you are making the assumption that a contract was signed between the two parties, without actually knowing if there was one, based purely on the fact that a media outlet announced there was one.

I'm pretty sure the media don't have access to view contracts of any clubs.

I see Terrorwit has fled, did I say something that might have offended?

Can you prove that I have in fact "fled"? Do you have a photo of me fleeing?
Do you have my coordinates?
Unless you are tracking me by satellite and can post evidence of this you are going to have to apologise.

Brendan 'bullshitter' Rodgers has truly found his spiritual home.

The fact there is no green light next to your name and you are not listed as viewing points towards the fact that you had run away.

Perhaps you should force your owners to apologise for putting a release clause in a contract of a player you clearly don't want to leave.
