So after the way he was used last night, does anyone see him hanging around past the transfer window?
You cannot dismiss Jets talent, but you can question his work rate, i think SC would prefer a player giving 100%, and not waiting for that magic moment which may not come, if you want to be a top team you need eleven committed players, not ten and one luxury.
Historically I think Cotts teams have been known more for their effort and commitment rather than for flowing football.
At this level however, effort and commitment may be enough if the squad are focused and work for each other
'How any of us can criticise Cotterill based on his record so far is totally beyond me'
I'm not criticising his record but I'm entitled to express an opinion on last night.
What was your view from 'up North' ?
Rp your right to have your opinion, of that we have no doubt, but if you listen to SC assessment of the game, it differs somewhat to yours, now who do we think is right, that's down to opinions, but i think SC was spot on.
What did you think of Slade's assessment ?
No, I don't care about his either.
To be honest i don't care about his either, my opinion, it was a game both managers didn't want to lose, and it was reflected in the game, both hoping to nick a goal, which didn't come, although Baldocks goal should have stood, in the end draw fair result.
With JET I think it's quite simple, he's not playing because he doesn't work anywhere near as hard as Wilbraham does. Tuesday night both Wilbs and Baldock were closing down their back 4, whereas JET doesn't give you that work-rate, he's a luxury, and I think that's how Cotts sees him. I think it's fair enough, and now it's up to JET to prove he wants to fight for his place.
