He's been right a fair few times before....I just hope he isn't right this time....

We don't need Jenas! Gibson and Gardener are on the way to add to the likes of Colback, Cattermole, Meyler, Steed, Richardson, Riveros and Sess who can all play in the middle.

I've supported all of Brucies moves (or potential moves) up to now in this window but Jenas would be a terrible signing IMO
 
I call bullshit. I hope its bullshit. Actually I PRAY its bullshit. Not what we need, at all. Gardner and Larsson are two great recruits, Gibson -coud- be useful, but at least hes young and has a point to prove. Like you mentioned we have Catts, Colback, Meyley, RIcco, Sess and Riveros. Steed will likely go I reckon.

Plus lets not forget Jenas' feelings about the North East.

I just said the same thing on FB. Even if the bid is accepted, I doubt he would agree to sign for us. All of these midfielder signings has got me thinking that we may be offloading one or two of our current midfielders.

On another note, according to reports on Twatter and FB, we are set to announce a "very good signing" tomorrow. The only details that the source would give, was that he is 28 years old and is English. If true, my bet would be CB Roger Johnson from Birmingham who just happens to be 28!

This was from Tony Jeffries on twitter. He's said that it's not Defoe and not Jenas. He's English and plays in the Prem. But the whole thing about being 28 is wrong. He said he was talking about some other boxer.

Jenas is a canny enough player but has a heart the size of a gnats bollock and gets a nose bleed if he ventures anywhere north of junction 4 on the M1.

We don't want him, need him or, I believe, are after him at all. Rumour milling gone a tad awry me thinks.
