Suggested to the Forum on Radio Leicester that we should go for Jermaine Defoe for £5.5m. Nearly fell off my chair when Birch said 'it is not far from the mark. Sven picked him regularly for England. Dropping to the Championship and wages may be an issue.'

Think the only JD that will be at the King Power Stadium might be in a hip flask - but is he worth a crack ?

FACT is Fryatt needs on average 6 chances to put away 1 goal! This is is level and he will score a few goals for you
but to say he will score more goals than any of our players, dought it very much, think you will be on a loser just like your team.
