If this is true, then both will be coming in, although I'd have thought Jenkinson would just be a loan, £3m for a young England international seems a bit far-fetched to me.

So if Jenkinson, Maguire and Robertson all come in today, then that's the backline solidified in one fell swoop. Brilliant. Just a shame they can't play in Europe.

They can, just not the 3rd round qualifiers.
 
Think we will be in for both, around £5m for both is good value considerimg we were looking at£4m fpr dawson

Throw in a loan cm and forward and we will look sorted

I kinda wanna go to sleep but at the same time this all seems to be developing before my eyes.

Any idea when Robertson will be confirmed? Or are we waiting until tomorrow for that.

I'd guess at tomorrow, unless he accepts everything in his contract straight away, in which case it might be done this afternoon. But I'd have thought tomorrow at the earliest, which would allow him to have a look round the area and make his mind up.

Bruce said on Saturday that he hoped the signing would be completed today.
 
Not sure if he's a reliable source or not, i only looked after OLM mentioned his name in an earlier post so i had a look, he seems to know his stuff though.

He was supposed to play against Hibs (for whom Oxley was featuring), but was left out. He sat in the stands instead. He travelled down today to discuss a move and if all goes well, he'll have his medical either today or tomorrow.

Didn't Brucey say, post-match to Burnsy, that Robertson was meeting City on Sunday? (Which the lad didn't).

If we do sign Jenkinson, he'll have to change his room.
