No one should get sexually assaulted at their place of work, or anywhere, whichever country theyre in.

I'm not sure Jenas was sacked for assault, just inappropriate messaging. Or have we moved on from that?

I was working in an alternative bar about 30 years ago, got groped by women occasionally but can't say it made me not want to go to work.

Or maybe I was just insecure and just took it as a compliment?

Now I'm 45 plus with teenager kids, would I like my kids to see sexual politics as part and parcel of employment?

Sorry, but despite my 'naughties libertarian instinct' I find myself as coming down on the side of 'No'.

Jenas has probably done something mildly wrong and fairly got sacked for it but a total witch-hunt is probably unfair.

Will have done more damage to his personal relationships more than his bank balance.

Comes out contrite he'll still be a successful pundit because he's totally bland.

Competent but bland. Just like his playing career.

While I agree with a lot of that
Heard a story of a woman and a man shagging at work
Both married
She’s the senior
He’s got suspended while it goes through disciplinary
Sounds like Chas got caught with his pants down.

No, we'd moved on. I made an ill-advised joke that was misinterpreted. I probably wrote it whilst taking a **** or focusing on something else and so didn't make it clear that I wasn't serious, so the blame is entirely on me.

It's the UK, isn't it - no action for years is followed by a huge over-reaction. He should have been suspended for six months and a public apology. No need to cancel him and grind him into the ground. To be fair to him, he was a bit more than a competent but bland footballer - he played for England and in the Premier League for a decade... It's elite level, the top 0.1%.
