A full report on all our players out on loan just went up on the OWS...
Jamie Devitt produced a man-of-the-match display on his home debut for Bradford City at the weekend. The Irish winger (pictured) was handed his first Bantams start by manager Phil Parkinson and he rewarded the former Tigers boss by winning two second half penalties, both of which were dispatched by Michael Flynn, to help his new side to a 2-2 draw with Bristol Rovers. On an eventful afternoon, Devitt was also booked but that did little to detract from his impact on the game.
Also in League Two, Will Atkinson got another 90 minutes under his belt for Plymouth Argyle as they went down 2-0 at home to Port Vale.
In League One, Mark Cullen returned from injury as a second half substitute for Bury as they were beaten 4-2 by local rivals Rochdale. Getting into the thick of the action, the striker was on the receiving end of a nasty tackle from Nicky Adams who was given his marching orders with a second yellow card. Meanwhile, Liam Cooper was an unused substitute for Huddersfield in their 2-0 win against Tranmere.
Moving up to the Championship and Jay Simpson made the first appearance of his loan spell with Millwall in their 3-0 defeat at Birmingham. The striker played 72 minutes before being replaced by John Marquis.
Kevin Kilbane was on the wrong end of a 2-0 scoreline as Derby lost at Coventry. Despite making a vital goal-line clearance early in the second half, Kilbane saw goals from Lucas Jutkiewicz and Carl Baker defeat the Rams.
Finally, over in France Kamel Ghilas enjoyed a 2-1 win with FC Reims over Guingamp.
