Think we're all in agreement; Def an argument for both and I'd like us to bring in Lee and also someone of Premiership ilk whether it's short or long term.

At least it's an exciting debate; we been far too used to arguing about the lack of signings/ lack of quality of the signings! We're finally spoilt for choice which is somewhat of a first!

On a side note, can anyone tell me hoe to include someone's post in my reply?

Indeed! Click Reply with quote (which will be bottom right of someones message).

Stern John was similar signing, and he scored some seriously important goals for us.

He is definately worth a punt.

He was on 606 last weekend dicussing the Suarez issue and other football topics and I was extremely impressed at his knowledge and eloquence. In my opinion, a marked difference to Robbie Savage who I find not to be too sympathetic to the opinions of some fans and, in one instance I heard, all to willing to be offensive and aggressive with someone whose opinion he did not share. All in all, I prefer this programme with Alan Green in the chair - far more diplomatic and someone with a greater depth of knowledge than Chapman.

I would not be too disappointed with Jason Roberts on loan.

As has been said our current league position has given us a short term goal and it would be a huge surprise and a big ask to think that Lee can arrive into a new league and new team and become an automatic first choice.

We need a player who can step in and take care of the physical requirements of the league and be a secondary target man to Lambert. Players like Lukas and Jay Rod would be costly and be unlikely to want to be second choice.

I see Jason Roberts has just signed for Reading. A lot of people thought he wouldn't drop down and we couldn't afford his wages. I still think he would have been a cracking signing and would've been exactly what we needed against Leicester!
