I once briefly knew someone who briefly claimed to have gone out with Stuart Pearson's sister. True story.
As a kid, I once had a United biscuit at Stuart Pearson’s house in Sale when he was playing for MUFC. True story, my old man was an insurance broker and sorted the insurance and mortgages etc. for most of the City players in the 70’s and 80’s, and some carried on after they’d moved on. Got to visit quite a few heroes in those days.

Klopp is leaving and they’re looking likely to be bringing in a manager that doesn’t play with wingers

If you mean Alonso, he definitely could play Bowen in his system. He plays a 3-4-2-1 with a back three, two holding mids, wingbacks and then two forwards playing off a central striker. Bowen could definitely do the role Hofmann and Adli do for Leverkusen.

Watched the highlights of the WHU v Brentford game, 3 very good goals from Bowen. None of them easy and aI tnink the first he started the move that led to his goal.. Listened to his interview after the game came across verry well.

Think Bowen played false 9 for his hat trick at the weekend. At least that's where the BBC line up graphic had him.
