Just curious as it’s not that far away, what areas do we need to strengthen in peoples opinion? (3rd striker aside) and who would you like to see us go for?

A striker. When Ballards back our defence will be sorted. Huggins is back so our fullback situation is good, Alese can also play LB aswell. We have loads of CM in Matete, Neil, Evans, Ba and Michut.
We have more wingers than most teams, so the most obvious position is a 3rd striker

Horrendous injury record too, doesn’t really fit the model
Personally I still think we need some size and experience and power in the midfield.
We need to be lining up evans’ replacement ideally unless one of the young lads is in mind for that, agree about size though we very small in the middle of the pitch
A defensive minded midfielder entering their prime. Someone who is the long-term replacement to Evans but more mobile and physical so they can also play alongside him when needed this season.
Possibly a right back. Huggins has been out for over a year and we never saw enough to know what he was capable of. They don't think Hume is ready, he needs a loan. O'Nien and Gooch are solid fillers, but a specialist over there would make us look much stronger.

Yeah me too. I'm not sure how we can justify paying the wages for 6 CM though when only 2 get picked on a matchday.
I'd love to see Matete get more game time. I'm a big fan of his.
This absolutely all day...reason we lost the game yesterday, yes (or started) evans should have come on at halftime...but he cant play every game....plus evans is more of a mopper up to me...we need thatproper dictator in middle of the park, priority in my head

Nowt wrong with talented youngsters, but sometimes 5-a-side football does not cut it.
Matete needs to go out on loan. Think he’s gonna be a super player but needs league one minutes for rest of this season.
A holding midfield player like Evans. Yesterday showed we really don’t want a midfield two that have an average age of 20. Adam Forshaw is available and at 31 would have that experience. In an ideal world it would be somebody 24-28 but I don’t know any in that bracket who would work for us.
Ba, Michut and Neil can compete for the other position, as well as potentially with the person in the “10” role as subs for example.

Always liked the look of him when I’ve seen him and they don’t look like they have a chance of going up this year so might be a good time to approach it
Have a feeling one of Stewart or cirkin will be away, think both are gone in the summer regardless mind
