Dominant centre mid, another centre half (and sell Wright)
Left back would be nice, although Alese and Huggins can cover that area. A 3rd striker maybe

I don’t think there’s any maybe about it, it’s a must. Some question marks about Simms and will Stewart be here after January?

Stewart, Cirkin, Clarke, Roberts all at risk of departure I’d say.

I'd be shocked to see that latter 2 go in January.

We've only just bought Clarke in the summer and I'm not sure anyone in the Premier League would be ready to pay big money on him yet, given that he probably doesn't walk into a first team and his previous time at Spurs.

I don't see Roberts finding a bigger club than us. He's an exceptional talent who is also inconsistent and a complete luxury. He's a maverick who thrives as a big fish in a small pond.

    Here would be my suggestions:
    In
Max Bird - Permanent - future replacement for Evans but would be good enough to start immediately.
Morgan Rogers - Permanent - Good attacking option with huge upside
    or
Alfie Devine - Loan - the reason i have put 2 more attacking players in is I think we miss creativity at times
Striker - unsure who at the minute as noone jumps out at me
Potentially a RB but depends how Huggins progresses

    Out
    Dajaku - loan or permanent
    Matete - loan
Embleton - permanent - not 100% on this one but think we need better as he just doesnt do enough
Hume - loan - depends on the RB situation tho

The way he has stepped into Gerrards boots at Liverpool is unbelievable tbf. To go in there as a young lad with a big fee on his head to be asked to replace the homegrown captain of Liverpool must have been daunting as ****, especially after the likes of Istanbul etc.

He has done absolutely amazing. Plus all of the charity, fundraising, being captain of all of the premier league captains etc.

    Top bloke imo.

Agree re Dajaku, Hume and Matete. The squad feels a bit bloated in certain areas. I'd keep Embo - he frustrates, but he has a talent and he has a knack of getting goals when needed.

I'd be looking for a new backup keeper, Bass fills me with dread.

Huggins, O'Nien and Cirkin can cover the FB positions, with Alese and Gooch as back up
I'm concerned about Wright, he looked a million years old on Sat and I'd like to sign someone to be backup (or possibly challenge) for Ballard and Batth
We need a viable alternative to Evans as neither Ba nor Neil are ready for that job yet. Suppose we need to wait and see what Michut can offer

Happy enough with our options on the wings, would it be greedy to want a 3rd striker?

Looks like we are interested in Bradley Dack from Blackburn. Might be lazy journos with the Mowbray link.

2 acl injuries is a worry @Prehab26 what’s the likelihood of coming back from this to a similar standard?

Personally think it's really poor from mowbray that he hasn't been given a start or two. Been decent every time he's come on imo.
