January

More a case of who will be leaving in January... I can see Jak going, along with Snodgrass, Tymon, ... I fear Bruce Bonus will be in for Curtis, Elmo.

He's at Spurs.

We need to be sold, I understand the plan is to spend pretty much **** all in January under the current owners.

Lets hope they dont scare off the one remaining interested party then

With the allams track record easier said than done

Tis all doom and gloom at the minute lets hope for a breakthrough soon

Doubt it unless they're in the last throes of their contracts.
Even the Allams would realise selling them is suicide.
They still need to sell the club before we are relegated, despite parachute payments, it wouldn't cover what they would lose in the value of the club.
They would probably have to declare bankruptcy if we were relegated, meaning next season we'd be on minus points if that were the case.
The Allams still have a lot to lose, they can't be that stupid.

I'm here if Elmohamedy needs a lift to the station.

Wouldn't want him to miss his train.

why would Curtis ever want to play for Brucie again - Brucie dropped him for half a season so he could play his son - that's one player we need never worry will be off to Villa

We could of sold everybody last transfer window but didnt

Possibly players leaving who are almost out of contract
Elmo? Huddlestone?

No great loss if adequatley replaced

Its a tough thread to comment on regarding recruitment etc as nobody has a clue whats going on behind the scenes, we could spend nothing with no takeover being completed

Or

We could finally get a takeover done and have funds to strengthen competitivley

Until january the 1st who knows

The trouble is time is drifting by and nothing seems to be happening.

I thought Huddlestone signed a new contract? I certainly wouldn't lose any sleep if he went though.

I really don't get these digs at Elmo.
OK, he's not a world beater, and that's why he plays for us not Man City, but he's been a pretty decent player for us over the years and a big part of our successes.
And we'd be pretty f_ucked at the moment without him.

Anybody else think they will sell after the window has closed ? One last dig at the fans
Wouldn't surprise me
I suspect that they're genuinely worried that someone else might come in and be both more successful and more popular than them (obviously the second part is pretty much guaranteed)
I honestly think that they would hate that

I really cant see us hanging on to Snodgrass for long, now he is back to his best. When does his contract expire? If its a 3 year deal, then this will be his final year?

It does expire at the end of this season, though I believe we have the option of extending it by a year, even if he doesn't agree a new deal.
