Fosse is nearly always up past midnight Ponky - need my relaxation time after the mental toil.

So still evading the questions Ponks ... let me reiterate, my simple friend ...

DVDB has a better scoring rate than Pogba when played in a more box to box attacking midfield role ... yet his only option at United was to be played as a defensive midfielder in place of McTominey or Fred? ... both of whom score less than 1 in 10 whilst DVDB scores 1 in 4 ... wtf did United think they were signing?

So it was addressed perhaps, but certainly not disproved... except in your dreams...

Question begs ... why wasn't DVDB ever given a run to prove himself whilst Pogba and Fernandes were rather ****e ? ... answer is that Ole was too frightened to drop either ... hence my point about egos.

Yours is now stopping you admitting you've been schooled ...ego is a powerful thing Ponks but it can also make you look rather silly ... you rather silly man, you <smooch>

Not sure how many times I need to tell you this Flossy. But this has all been covered already in this thread.

It was covered by me, it was covered by Chief and again by Treble.

You must be going senile in your old age Flos, because despite having been told this multiple times, you’re still here making a tit of yourself.

hope he gets a run/chance as the last Ajax star didn’t really get that with us under Koeman.

He was brilliant as an ACM for Ajax, but that’s because he had hard grafting midfielders around him. I think he could also be used as more of a playmaker / box to box for you guys.

Obviously he didn’t get much of a look in for those positions at Utd due to Pogba and Bruno doing those roles (despite flossy’s claims it was all about ego) but there’s defo a talented player in there

Just remains to be seen whether Fat Frank can utilise him in his best role

Gonna day Lampard will setup with a 4-3-3.(4-5-1) So will have two grafting for him to get forward and use Richarlison/Grey/Townsend to give the width. DCL up top

I don’t see him as another Klaasen tbh, he just couldn’t handle the pace of the PL imo. I’ve seen VDB at United and I don’t think that’s his issue, he just didn’t get an extended run of games. He came into a squad already packed with quality in the more attacking roles, and he’s was rarely a starter as a result. I never understood why they bought him tbh. I’m hopeful he can do a job for us in the next few months, and then possibly beyond.

They learnt nothing from the Ozil experience eh.

Giving a bloke who was touching 31 a huge contract like that was a huge risk. Arteta obvs couldn’t manage his ego and they fell out, it happens I suppose, but if gets back to top form at Barca, Arteta will look a right tit, especially in Lacazette gets an injury during the crucial run in.
