The reason VBD had a better goal scoring record at Ajax is because he was used as an ACM there. Bruno is the ACM at Utd and he's got bucket loads of goals. Pogba is used as a deep lying playmaker and box to box. He's even been used as a left winger.

And why are you even bringing up Fred and McTominay ? Of course VBD should have had a look in ahead of those two, that's already been discussed.

So in summary.

DVDB should do okay in a three with Alan and Doucoure sitting. Not the same level as Fred and McTom, but should be able to cobble a few good showings. Is this the feeling Fosse? Or will he be poor again, like an on loan Klassen who only looked good in a system built for him? Like say Klassen

 

I rarely if ever make up my opinion on a player in less than a season, especially one who's proved himself to be a good player when he's signed.

It's why I think DVB still has potential.

Call me old fashioned but I don't think you can judge a player in a few months of joining a new club in a new league.

Having said that, now that Greenwood is off the books maybe Sancho will finally play in his best position. Maybe Lingard will get a game as well.

1) Has DVDB got a better goalscoring ratio in his time at Ajax than Paul Pogba has at United? Yes or No?

2) Has DVDB got a much better goal to game ratio than Scott McTominey and Fred? 1:4 against 1:10? Yes or No?

3) Have you been completely schooled again and shown up to be a bit of a knob jockey? Yes or Yes?
