He came into a squad already packed with quality in the more attacking roles, and he’s was rarely a starter as a result. I never understood why they bought him tbh. I’m hopeful he can do a job for us in the next few months, and then possibly beyond.

I'd have liked DVB or Alli at Newcastle to be honest, not both though as I think it's too big a risk to introduce both. If I had a pick I'd have gone for DVB, I can see him being decent come April/May time.

At this moment in time I think even lampard puts his boots on and adds a forward threat to our CM

I want to believe Alli will do well, I just don't.

Everton will be fine though.

Post any denial Ponky ... you won't find one melty shorts <laugh> ... and yes I found yesterday very amusing ... and if you study my posting history you'll find plenty between 11 in the evening and 2 in the morning ... it's my wind down time ... as opposed to my wind up time... which was much longer yesterday ... with you crying about an edit denial that never happened or an edit lie, which also never happened ... **** me but that was a whole new level of sad <cheers>
