For anyone out there like me who may have initially confused castillas with casilla Castillas was no 1 at real for years and now plays for Porto... Casilla was good enough to be a regular for espanyol and get called up to Spain’s national squad... been Back up at Madrid playing a few games each season until this year... now 3rd choice at Madrid since courtois joined.
Are you deliberately confusing things even more? Casillas is at Porto, Casilla is the 3rd choice at Real Madrid
No I just can’t spell in Spanish! Don’t know where I plucked the ‘t’ from! so thanks for clearing it up, kind of.... the Madrid 3rd choice guy is definitely Casilla! Let’s hope we sign a keeper called Smith!
All weekend I have seen stories about a kid called Dan James from Swansea. A flying winger who creates goals and scores. Supposed to be the Saiz replacement? Why would Swansea sell to us and is he the best we can do?
este, it’s because the guy we’re signing is enchilada... some idiots are getting really confused over the name
New one on me but if reports are correct we have put a bid in for £10.5m for Ze Louis from Spartak Moscow. Prolific striker with 11 goals in 23 starts this season? https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/01/...stunning-105m-bid-for-spartak-moscows-ze-lui/
If we had money to burn I would say worth the risk, however if that is even only 50% of our transfer funds I'd rather the money be spent more wisely. If we are buying in preparation for the Premier league I'd say stay away, given the experience both Everton and Leicester have had with purchasing prolific goalscorers in the Russian League. It's too much of a gamble and just to give folks a comparison of what the Russian Premier league is like domestically Jefferson Farfan (who is in his mid 30's) scored 14 goals in 30 games for Locomotiv Moscow last season, so comparable to this guy in the article. He previously played in the Bundesliga for Schalke,( between the ages of 24 to 30, so 6 seasons) where he scored 40 goals in approx 150 starts, a goal every 3.75 games. Lasogga's Bundesliga career was a goal every 2.44 games. Obviously if Bielsa is happy that we spend whatever percentage of our transfer funds on this guy, then all the above doesn't matter, as whilst I rate my statistical analysis higher than Frank Lampards, my 30 minutes of research may just fall slightly short of Bielsa's
Hey Victor Orta the Bielsa prodigy Ezequeil Ponce has also played 15 league games and scored 11 goals. You can snap him up if you want him. We know you looked at him twice. He scored again yesterday
