Looks like all our promotion rivals have strengthened well in January, or looking likely to do some decent business.
.

I don't see anything that our rivals have done so far - has improved them that much. We still have the best squad depth full stop.
Yes we all would like another 20+ goal scorer, however no more available until the summer.

Glenn Murray to Brighton ? Don't see that happening this window. Bournemouth would be mad to let anyone go at this time.
However, it may happen in March "on loan" when Bournemouth expect some long term injured players back fit. Calum Wilson being one.

Sandro to Wba is a funny one. Guess he suits the Pulis mantra football wise though.

Tom Ince says that Kasper Schmeichel's success at Leicester is down to him. They played with each other as kids in the Old Trafford lounge.
(cue the smutty remarks ?)

Read a couple of the articles linking Powell to us, but can't seem to see anywhere where it suggests it as a loan or a perm. Contract up in 6 months I understand but as a young player couldn't leave for free, so i'd assume a loan with a view to a fee at the end of his contract would be the smart move

I don't think you're a wum, I just think you're a stupid ****. But at least you don't trot round saying we should sign farty Phil from Land of nod fc or ilikethecream ofsumyungguy from Shanghai poodles u-10's.

I'm sure Sterling mentioned those two months ago.

Says he is a midfielder.
Guess he's a decent addition if we can get him but we need goals... Got enough attacking midfielders.
Best we can do maybe?

I'm pretty sure I read that Joyce has been playing him up front and he played there for Crewe anyway so is not alien to playing in that position.

Thats a cracking signing from Sunderland buying Wahbi Khazri , iv been watching his progress for a few seasons , he could of gone to a much bigger Club , Sunderland have pulled a real coup

According to Wicki he's scored 1 in 4 across his career so far. If he can keep that ratio up scoring for us, I don't care if he's a goalie.

I just said we should be looking at some of the footballing talent in Egypt before they get picked up by big clubs and end up costing lots of money. I don't really know much about any of the two I posted other than they're the two hottest prospects over there and they've been scouted by Juve, Milan, Bayern and the big two in Spain. We obviously won't sign them, but it's the sort of thing Bruce likes to do and I'd like to see it happen again.

But all I do really is sit on football manager all day looking at made up numbers on a screen. It's well easy. You don't need any footballing knowledge at all. Just the word 'wonderkid' and YouTube open.

I wonder if those same people saw Abel make his debut against West Ham when he scored a couple, had a couple of near misses and hit the bar; he showed plenty of talent on his debut to suggest he had the ability and skill from the off. He may have been running on adrenalin that night but on a personal note was confident he would come good. What's happened in-between probably due to settling in a new country and until this season not getting picked regularly with the resulting impact on what confidence he had at the time

Remember that game with fond memories, and while Hernandez looked the dogs bollocks, he only scored once, Diame scored the other in a 2-2 draw. But take your point sir.

ssn reporting that city's under 21 player Harvey Rodgers is going to Luton on loan.

He's looked alright for the stiffs this season, he was pretty good on Monday night too. He's quite a big lad, although he's not blessed with massive amounts of pace from what I've seen and he seems to get caught out by pacey front ment if he doesn't read it right. Bit like Harry I suppose.

Interesting nobody has gone in for Clark or Luer yet, or even JTH and Jarrod Bowen.

There's plenty in for Luer, he'll go out on loan Sunday/Monday.

Alex Bruce 'played' with them too I think
