Yeah he was ****. Though getting rid of a striker and replacing him with a defender/midfielder seems odd when they've got Morgan, Wasilewski, Huth, Benalouane, Moore in defence and Drinkwater, James, King, Kante and Inler in midfield.
 
Although Diomande hasn't set the world alight (though not his fault), I still think we should look in the Scandinavian leagues for players.
 
Brucie should be planning for next season on the expectation that we get promotion - Meyler is a poor Prem signing - with all that extra money we should be buying much better

Wasilewski looked dog ****e against Spurs in the cup game. He must make Wes Morgan look good and the complete Olympic 100 metre sprinter.
 
He was slower than slow, pedestrian in fact. Sloppy in possession and certainly at fault for one of the goals. I haven't seen him play before - but on that one game he didn't look very good. Maybe his beard got in the way. He looked more suited physically to Rugby, he certainly didn't look like a footballer.

Newcastle fans will love that! Not sure he'll be back at St James's to do any match commentaries any time soon <laugh> if ever a man looked uncomfortable in a football shirt - that's it right there <laugh>
 
The only way Harper can get his pride back is to have a night out in Newcastle wearing a Sad Mackam Bastards T-shirt.

I totally agree, and particularly as I will be sitting in the home end, as a good friend has invited me over to watch the game with him.

Name doesn't ring any bells. We were digging around in the bargain basement.

Was Wasilewski just **** in that FA cup replay or is that his usual standard? He looked absolutely gash in that game.
