I have a feeling we may get Crouch on loan if they don't get past Liverpool in the League Cup semi. Just the sort of striker Brucey wants. May well be on the deadline though.

IF Stoke go out of the COC and FAC before the end of January then Crouch will hardly get a look in. However much A long shot - never say never.

Burnsey asked SB about Crouch a week or so ago - SB said wages would be a problem

Only IF Stoke were to subsidise them could we have a chance of getting him this season.

Leicester rumoured to be about to hi-jack Middlesborough for Fulham striker Ross McCormack. <laugh>

Hopefully he'll get back to his best, because when he's on form and fully fit, we win games easily. Just sad he's not had more of a rest before last week, when he really obviously needed one, because with these ****ty away games he's just the kinda guy you need battling away.

This is good news, also are we still just signing players on two year deals? Was this something Ehab said we did to ensure financial security?

Mannone's their new number one, following the departure of Pantillimon.

He'd be third choice behind Pickford.
They should make Pickford their number one, he's 21, played for England at all levels bar the top one and had 6 loan clubs, surely that's enough experience for him to be given a run in the team. British/English lads don't get a chance to play at the top level especially goalies, can only think of Butland who is getting a proper go with Stoke

Good news he has signed an extension to his contract, I wonder whether Curtis will be next, or like Huddlestone and Elmo are likely to do wait until the summer when their contracts have run down.

I don't think he will travel for the game tomorrow, same team as last week then.

Agreed John. Of the next 4 away games WE need a 100% fit David Meyler for the Burnley game.
Burnley is where you need true British grit. Last season @ Turf Moor being a case in point.
