So I'd go out and try and sign a proven Championship goal scorer for less than £1m, yeah I would really **** up our club I would. We can't rely on Hernandez for goals, what if he goes through a dry spell or gets injured? Where will our main goal threat come from then? Somebody like kermogant would have been great back up and experience for Akpom and Luer to learn from.

Anyway, back on planet earth, I wonder if Big Sam would let Duncan Watmore out on loan, I've been quite impressed with him and with Sunderland struggling, they'll no doubt go in for another striker. They've already brought in N'Doye so it might be worth an enquiry.

It'll probably be Frederik Scharm, the Icelandic lad, they've had him in on trial already, he played against Barnsley U21s.
We're unlikely to be 'some way apart on the fee' with a youth player from Iceland.
