They're trying to get promoted now, not in the future, I don't think signing a player that'll be good in 3 years time is what they need. Besides, they have Harry Cardwell, he's already training with their first team.

Age is only relevant in terms of sell on really, it has nothing to do with whether the player is any good or not. Look at Akpom.

He's a Windass type signing. 17 goals in this league last season. He'd have been perfect.

I agree to an extent; Kermogant would have been great for a team around the play-offs or even ourselves, but Reading are 11 off even that. Maybe they shouldn't be written off yet, but they are going to get over 2 points per game from now on in to have a decent chance....surprised someone a bit higher up didn't go in for him

I wish we had. He offers a different threat to Abel, so it would have been great to have something different in our armoury. Now I'll just hope we sign any striker.
