Has all the release clauses expired then? There was so much said about them in the last transfer window, that we'd be helpless if someone came along and triggered the players release clause... Now Bruce is saying he wont be letting anyone go... just a bit confusing..

Is it possible he's a replacement for someone, I don't know how reliable this rag is.
Jelavic has played for 2 clubs (Us and WHU), can he play for anyone else?
I think that would come under a new season, they would have a different start & end, similar to MLS, so would be able to play!
He can play for a third club if it's in a league where their season is out of sync with ours, to be honest I've no idea if that applies with the Chinese league.
Kind of makes rubbish of those rumours that Swansea were after Gray.
It's a tabloid, but it's by far the biggest selling paper in Scotland and is usually fairly good on Scottish player stories.

My next question would be SB being telling us for the past few weeks there's no money for transfers, if the story is accurate then is its possible we've agreed to sell someone providing we get a replacement in, and the the fact we're overrun with midfielders why are we chasing another one, unless one of ours is close to moving on.
If we can't find a £1m transfer fee which no doubt would be in instalments anyway, irrespective of whether anybody leaves, we are well truly up against it!

Agree, but as things stand cant see the owners taking on another million in debt to add to the 60million their have already loaned city.
Think I read it that the Scots lad can play LWB as well as midfield. He's also got a great free in his armoury.

He seems comfortable with the ball on either foot, which is positive. There's far too many footballers who can only use one foot.
