Bristol Rovers are on the verge of signing Shrewsbury Town midfielder Liam Lawrence.

How the mighty fall, I remember him causing us all sorts of problems while he was with Stoke.
 
Everton are planning to send Darron Gibson and Aiden McGeady out on loan this month, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The report suggests McGeady is keen on a move to another Premier League club, however, a number of Championship clubs have reportedly registered their interest in the winger

Wonder if SB has made a phone call to Mr Martinez re McGeady.

What have I forgotten? Hayden has not gone by the way. Apart from Hernandez, Akpom and Diomande we also have Aluko, Maloney, Snodgrass, Diame, Luer, Elmo, to name but a few, who can all score goals

He was gone (to all intents and purposes) when this was discussed. Luer is the only true striker there and again he is unproven. I would count the others as midfielders whose goal contribution should be separate.

He was causing us problems a long time before Stoke - he was one of Billy Deardens star turns at Mansfield, him and Greenacre were obvious stars even back then.

Standard Liege have accepted a new and improved second bid from Brighton for winger Anthony Knockaert.

Rangers have agreed to pay £400k compensation to Acrington for Crooks and Windass.
