Too true, Elmo is a prime example, at least Davies is professional even if he's had enough, Elmo seems to blatantly not give a **** and I'm amazed Bruce keeps picking him

I think that Elmo will raise his game again, making him, Dawson, Curtis, Diame, Robbo, Livermore and Hernandez automatic picks - you can fill the spaces fairly easily (Greggs, Maguire, Clucas, Diomande). This team, in league games, barring injuries game after game will take us up with space to spare.

He spends a lot of time in Maccy Ds (usually unarmed). He kicks about with the 6 a sides on a Sun night in Sandbach. I think he has an interest problem.

To add to that. My lad & his pal are here waiting to go to their game tonight & both say Powell openly says he's not arsed where he goes, he'll go to wherever he gets the most money whichever league they're in.

You haven't called me on anything, you wrote 'rubbish' when I said I wasn't convinced about Elmo, which is hardly a mindblowing statement given that he's not been at his usual standards this season
Do you even know what you write??
I think you're a wum.

Wasn't convinced!!
You put elmo seems toblatantly not give a ****.

I suspect, had we had three centre backs available a week or two back, we'd have reverted back to it.

I would genuinely like to see Huddlestone as one of the 3. He sits deep enough as a midfielder, he's good enough defensively and he could step out of defence to make incisive passes. I really think that could be his best position, shame we haven't tried it properly.

Lets clear some bollocks up, no ones playing half heartedly or not putting in the effort. They're all professionals earning a lot of money for what they do. Those who have had their wages cut will want them back, they'll also want to be playing at the highest level. That means getting this club back to the premier league or playing out their skins so a premier league club takes them on. They're not going to achieve either through a lack of effort.
did you go to leeds, rotherham or preston (i didnt go to preston)I'm sure if you did you might have a different view.we have players in our squad who often dont look interested .elmo is the worst offender

I agree to some extent but it's clearly not working with us , we followed up victories over Bolton and reading with not turning up at Rotherham , beat burnley and then put in that display at Preston ???
It's a fine line between confidence and arrogance and some of our players seem to get complacent far too easily.

A good start would be to ban them from having media and press interviews or twittering like tarts every time we get a decent result. I personally don't give a **** what they think. It's what they do on the pitch that matters and Bruce needs to keep their feet on the ground.

Agreed we should still be playing 3-5-2 with our defensive wing backs. It is the system that best suits the players we have available.

Hmm, defensive? That bit of sarcasm actually backfires, as it highlights that you accept the silliness of thinking of them as defenders, or, perhaps you think of them as five across the back in which case you're spot on. <ok>

You must log in or register to see media

Just jesting. :emoticon-0105-wink:

To add to that. My lad & his pal are here waiting to go to their game tonight & both say Powell openly says he's not arsed where he goes, he'll go to wherever he gets the most money whichever league they're in.

He sounds like exactly the sort of player we need to avoid.

Elmo's getting a bit too much **** on here, he's not been as good as in previous seasons, but he's not been a complete disaster either.

I think his performances have suffered as much from us changing from 3-5-2, as they have from anything.
Agreed - whether he stays or goes, overall Elmo has been great for us.

Elmo has struggled since Moses arrived! They seem to get too close to each other, then none of them seem to know what to do! Both are better when running at players!

Brentford reject bid from Sheffield Wednesday for Alan Judge. 10 goals in 23 appearances for winger [HASHTAG]#swfc[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#Brentfordfc[/HASHTAG]

He's a decent player, he'd certainly help a team wanting automatic promotion, he'd cost a fair wedge though. He's the sort of player I hoped we'd be having a look at this window.
