I suspect we need to sell our contract finishers before we can buy, hence wanting to get rid at the start of the window. Gives us funds and frees up wages.
 
Obviously it's transfer window time and again we want a striker but unless Bruce finds a midfield with some desire, guile and creativity then Allams throwing his money away. Our only tactic over the last few seasons was to get elmo flying down the wing and put a cross in, once teams stopped that they stopped us. However...it's one of them horrible ones... Elmo doesn't fancy it this season and his pace seems to have got up and ****ed off!! So unless we can sort these issues out our strikers will continue to feed off scraps.

One suggestion maybe to and I know we've tried it before but not with a full injury free squad but 4231 so

Snodgrass Diame Maloney
Hernandez

Ideally I'd like 2 new midfielders but at least 1 , take the burden of attacking off Jake. Him and the other midfielder just win the ball and let the 3 create

Thudd to Villa £4 Million? Davies to Bournemouth £3 Million? If so, £7 Million's not a bad start

Sorry - for some reason I thought we were limited to the number we could have. In that case, let's hope we've got someone lined up to come into the 1st team and do a job. No point in signing more bench warmers.
 
Yep jedinak would be exactly what we need, experianced leader. Id test the water if we get shut of hudds
 
Jedinak is coming back from injury and has lost his Captaincy and starting line up position. He received an offer from Stoke at the beginning of the season but turned it down and has stated that he is going nowhere in the January window. He likes it where he is and believes that he still has a part to play at Palace.
 
I might as well sticky this as the transfer thread, there's not so much business done in January so I'm not sure we need a City and general one, particularly when the Championship stuff gets posted on the City one anyway?
