He didn't want to come here but we offered him too much to refuse. Was literally on strike from the second he arrived. For all the slagging off (some) people on here have given Rafa over signings, he has only signed players who wanted to play for the club. Hence the **** we have now. Also, not physical enough for the Premier League and needs space to play in and look good, just like Ben Arfa; the French League isn't all that.
Historically, an awful lot of transfers get done right at the end of the transfer window so I'm not going to pass judgement until the window is closed. I beg your pardon, until the window "SLAMS SHUT". An experienced, quality striker is the absolute minimum to judge this window on and there's going to be quite a backlash if it doesn't happen.
