His stats this and last season don't matter as he's been in a garbage team that has been struggling.

He's fast as **** and causes fullbacks issues. He always tries to position himself for rebound tap in's which could be a good thing with our midfielders hardly being prolific, he's English which is going to be a requirement for Europe and he's got room to improve a great deal under under Eddie.

I don't like the kid, I don't like his attitude, I don't like how he's gone on about getting a move but I'll give him my support now.
This. Personally, I wouldn't have chosen him, but then again, I'd rather have him in the team than play against him.

I don't think they'll sign anyone else other than maybe Ashby.

They've got competition everywhere now and Joelinton can play cm.

Rb is perhaps the weakest position now in depth..

All mutilation / amputation options aside, I think it's probably too much to expect Maddison in and any other moving parts around that to be concluded before the close of the window.

Still feels like we’re being rinsed for £45m when less than that would get you Gallagher or Ziyech and not much more for madders. I will however trust the process as he certainly has a lot of the attributes that Howe looks for and he will surely improve under our coaching set up and playing alongside players like Bruno/Miggy and Isak etc. Not to mention hopefully squeezing Murphy out of the squad.

Who’s to say we may not still be looking at one of the afore mentioned 3 players as well but I’m pleased we’ve finally made a move and hope it’s the start of one or two more coming in before the window shuts. Teams below us are strengthening to push for top 4, we’re top 4 and we need to do everything we can to try and stay there in my opinion.

Gordon is better than both Ziyech and Gallagher

If this lad hits the ground running and does a good job it will be the most satisfying transfer I've ever experienced.

The Toffees will rewrite history ofc and pretend he was a much loved local talent.
