Forest sign Ben Watson as an Out of contract player. Exactly the type of player we needed.

    Hmmm

In Everton’s 4-0 win over West Ham in November, the final match before Sam Allardyce took over, four players aged 21 or under under started and three came on as substitutes, playing a total of 366 minutes.

Losing 5-1 at Arsenal on Saturday, the number of young starters had dropped to one, and the minutes played to 164. Tom Davies was given the second half but one imagines only because, by then, Everton were 4-0 down.

When Ademola Lookman’s absence was mentioned — he has gone to RB Leipzig on loan, where he scored the winner on Saturday — Allardyce began reciting the fees of the players he is using. Theo Walcott, £20m. Yannick Bolasie, £30m.

This is why, from the start, he was the wrong fit for Everton. Allardyce is very good at what he does, but what he does isn’t what Everton require. Allardyce’s teams aren’t top-four contenders, which is where Everton hope to be, and he doesn’t trust youth, which is what has fed Everton’s soul for years.

He keeps teams up, which is hardly the greatest feat at Everton, considering they haven’t been relegated since 1951. Plenty of managers have done that; and nurtured the famous youth system, too.

I fully expect him to be gone in the summer...

The point still stands if I was Bowen (Or your son which is a stupid argument you made) I would go to Everton in a heartbeat. You are using a small cross section of a season, you could argue is an excellent manager if you only looked at the Brentford game. The point still stands that Everton this season have given youngsters a chance, is Allarydce the ideal manager for them? Probably not, but there are far worse managers than him. I don't rate Allardyce that highly and I don't get why you think I do. Will he solidify them? Yes. Will he be there long term? No. Will Walsh continue to bring in young players and Everton nurture them into first team players? Yes.

If any Premier League club came in for Bowen I would recommend he left as he would no doubt be given 20/30k a week and change his life forever. Football is a job, and any youngster would jump at the chance of joining Everton. I use Ben Amos as an example.... average player? Now owns a 900k house mortgage free a couple of doors down, just cause he joined a big club. Why wouldn't Bowen or any other youngster? They will earn money to give to people like me to make them a fortune. Stoke's fourth choice goalkeeper last year was on over 20k a week (Pension contributions on top of this)..... Football has lost it soul but youngsters might as well take advantage of that and make themselves rich. You won't do that at City with Ehab in charge.

Will you now respond to my ten quotes of you saying Hull City have a top ten squad? Or you claim Evandro should shore up our midfield and play in front of the defence? Yes Evandro the attacking midfielder... potential winger in his younger days.... Or that Adkins has considerably improved us... We all say things that turn out to be wrong (Me included) just seems you refuse to admit it.

See bummers replies for our squad. Seems some others are saying play Evandro in centre mid now.

So you suggest a player sign s for a club knowing the manager is going to get the sack? Laughable. You sign for the manager, he inspires you and then could ruin your career.
Silva used Evandro to shore up a game once. He's a clever footballer who reads a game. Ideal to control a game.

I think we all agree Evandro's position is best behind a striker where he spent nearly all his career.

You can hide behind bummers but our squad is not a top 10 squad. We might have one of the ten highest wage bills but our squad is not good enough to be top ten, we are in the bottom three so far we have one of the three worst squad. A team does not get relagated with a top 10 squad end of. I am not saying Warnock or another manager would have us higher up, but we wouldn't be top 10 not a chance. We need 5/6 players to get there. Unless we can play 6 players behind a striker all at once.

However I am glad you agree that Tymon and all other youngsters are doing the right thing leaving for money.

Yawn. I don't hide behind anyone soft ****.
    Easily top ten.
Strange we played 4-3-3 under Silva I don't remember Evandro playing behind a striker. Funny that.

Thank you for turning this into a personal insult to show you lost the debate.... So unnecessary.... Why call someone you have never met a soft ****?

Examples of Evandro starting behind a striker from our last month, Can't be bothered going further back:

Evandro helped immensely in Silvas turn around in form a in a defensive number 10 role. Worked well at the bigger clubs. He’s not gonna make a big enough impact in a relegation scrap in this Division even if he stays fit, which is unlikely.

With Huddlestone and N’Diaye committed further up field, Evandro sits deepest as cover.

    Yawn.

Glad to see you move on from the swearing, I am proud.

Thank you for ignoring all the evidence though. So are you saying Evandro did not play behind a striker?

You stated you don't remember Evandro playing behind a striker, do you now admit you are wrong? Or are you too small minded to admit that?

I admit in the one screenshot above he is deeper than Huddlestone..... Wow.

I have been to every away game this season.

You know exactly why I won't go. I am not knocking you for going that's your decision but I won't go until they leave.

I have had season ticket for 20 seasons, why not longer? Because I was 5...... Our family have had premier club tickets at the KC since it opened and no doubt spent a lot of money. But none of us will go until the Allams are gone. End of. I will admit to not going to Forest away this weekend as I have free tickets to Twickenham, so my apologies. I am sure you will insult me for choosing to go to the Rugby over you.

On the other note, I am glad to see you resort back to your usual character of swearing and personal insults. Admit you are wrong (Evidence proves you are) and you can move on. Or continue your personal insults which have no grounding whatsoever. Is it jealousy?

I see Rannocchia got recalled yesterday due to injuries and was made captain as the longest serving player (Italian tradition).

He then promptly scored an own goal in a 2-0 loss,
