I've just put a thread on the Utd board for opinions on the midfield duo we may be signing if anyone is interested in responses.

We are pushing again for Taylor:

Fulham are understood to have made a second offer for Neil Taylor, and Swansea boss Michael Laudrup has confirmed the left-back could leave before the transfer deadline.
I've seen £5m quoted, seems steep for a reserve LB but we are desperate.

Swansea have had a bid of £2.5million rejected for Leicester's Jeffrey Schlupp. Not so sure that Laudrup woold let him go without cover.

We should just hi-jack that deal instead. No idea of the relative merits of the players though.

God I love imagining us as free spending cowboys hi-jacking deals left right and centre with a procession of players filling through the doors. How things change so quickly.

It seems that we are shown the door every time we go to Leceister!!

To those who think that West Ham will steal Mitroglou from us, I ask you this: Why would Mitroglou swap one relegation zone club for another?
One reason he agreed to come on board is because he was guaranteed first team football, he did not want to be a bench-warmer for the likes of arsenal.

But the most important reason he is coming to us is Kara! Kara convinced him that this team has a future in PL. Do you think that had it not been for Karagounis, Mitroglou would have agreed signing for us?

So unless I hear that Kara is going to west ham I am confident that it is a done deal

Unbelievable day so far. So glad mitroglou has signed, great to have a genuine goal scorer on board. Mighfly impressed with ghe htby signing and having a proper defensive midfielder should help with keeping some clean sheets. We just mrs Taylor to have her baby pronto and we can all look forward to the remaining games. Still have a sneaky feeling we might sign another striker.

Fantastic window so far well done to all involved with making it happen

Welcome to the board trivial.

No worries Froggie, it's been mad but worth the hard work on my part!

I'm hearing rumours that we've made a £9m bid for Olympiakos striker Kostas Mitroglou. It would be a great signing if it came off but I just can't see it happening. Would anyone in their right mind give up Champions League knock-out football for a relegation scrap, one month after signing a new deal? You've got to admire the clubs optimism.

Mmmmmmmmm humble pie has never tasted so good.
