Like it or not, the fact is now is not the time to change manager. If we were in danger of relegation then it is absolutely right to change with a firefighter type of manager to keep us up.
As things stand we are still in the mix for automatic or play offs. A new manager would have to assess the squad, then implement his own playing style and that takes time. Meanwhile we may lose any momentum we may have built.
At the end of season is a better time to look at the options in my opinion.
I’d be tempted to do a Big Sam and choose one of the CBs to play the holding role in midfield. I think Wright could do this far more effectively than Evans and provide the screening we so badly need

Using your example, I would be even more tempted to play Wright alongside Evans if Johnson is to keep with the 4-2-3-1 formation for that bit more protection

Lad Tucker at Gillingham plays this role 21 year old 6ft 4 and abit of a unit, seen him a couple times this season (dads from there) wouldn’t be the worst option not sure they’d sell given their position like

I don't like moving managers on. I want stability. I think the issue we have now if that due to the nature of the defeats, Hes lost some fans and he won't get them back inside. We do need to have a think and if there's a young coach who fits in with the new model, we gotta consider it. (Shame, I like LJ)

I think we are stuck with LJ. A very good manager was available a few weeks ago but is now committed elsewhere. We’ve missed the boat. I refer to Daniel Farke. I can’t think of anyone who is available that would be suitable and not a huge gamble at this stage of the season. I suppose we will just have to put our faith in Johnson. In his defence he has us in a position the majority of lg 1 clubs would love to be in, and we have players (lazy useless bustards) other clubs would be delighted to have. (Only joking about the lazy useless bustards. They may be lazy and useless, but they are our bustards)!
