Aye played for Liverpool. So isn't going anywhere new until the summer, what a ****e loan that has turned out to be for him! If he was going to sit on the bench or not even make the squad most weeks he could have stayed where he was!

Aye. An no fault to him we were probably below his aims in summer, but in hindsight likely would have been a perfect move for him.

Yeah, there is no way he expected to go to Villa and be frozen out! Is there question marks over him now? Or are Villa at a level above him?

They were after selling Buendia and he came back and ran through fire to do well I think. Just a left field be that cost Harvey minutes.

Obv could be something in training we don’t know that means Emery doesn’t fancy the lad but he did go Villa just as they got form going so likely just that.

Agbonlahor said on talksport today that he's heard that there's a clause to sign him on a perm if he makes a certain amount of appearances. That's why some of the kids are making the bench ahead of him.

Emery wanted Paqueta, and Harvey Elliott was a last resort on deadline day.

Think we'd be able to get him quite easily.

In the summer?

I think his profile.will have dropped a bit and maybe be isn't thinking quite as highly of himself now! After the Euros he would have been thinking it was season to get going!

It's on, it's off, it's on again. The value for money is getting better:

Sunderland are interested in French midfielder Guendouzi. Sunderland's manager is Le Bris, who previously worked with Guendouzi at Lorient.

According to the paper, Lazio would only consider a sale if it was very good value. The fee being discussed is between €15m and €20m, and this amount could be reinvested. The midfielder joined the capital club for a fee of €13m.

Marseille will receive 10% of any future resale fee. (Tuttomercato)

Seen a lot of people jumping on the Sadiki story and obviously it’s all hearsay at the minute but some saying there could be offers in January.

Hear me out.. great player clearly, a LOT of potential. But if Chelsea come in with something like £70m in January that money would really free up wiggle room for us to push on this season and make some big moves in January. I’d hate to see the lad to move on so quickly but £50m+ profit in 6 months would be insane to turn down.

It’s a dream scenario really, and one the club will have planned and hoped for.

Anyone who wants him needs to look at the fees for Caicedo and work from there.

Brighton looking for £75m for Baleba. Would love nothing more than Noah being here for a few years but a sale north of £50million, given the quality of our recruitment, would be massive for the club and for the growth.

As you say, zero shock to see the links starting and this will be standard whilst we are developing.

Massive gold star to the recruitment team when these are appearing after half a season.

Also, a mega fee pushes up the starting point for any future sales we make.

Considering Baleba is valued at 100m, Sadiki shouldn't be far off IF he continues his current form.

So many variables with this.

- Where we finish
- How he performs
- does he want the move?

say we finish in the top 10 and he keeps this run of form I honestly think we could ask for north of 60m for him

if we finish lower you'd imagine at an estimate maybe 40-50m.

We sold Jobe for £30m when we came out of the championship. Sadiki is top quality and only getting better.

Hopefully he doesn't want to go and we get another season out of him but he is one i've already braced myself for seeing leave next summer for a huge fee.

Don’t know if many agree but I personally think Sadiki is streets ahead of jobe
