Agreed, we are a newly promoted side and the recruitment in the summer was unreal. We planned on having 2 players for every position and that's what we had. We were just unfortunate that both our strikers got injured. Hopefully we still get Simms in but the progress we are making is unreal, no panic buying and paying over the odds for crap players

I have a different perspective. 3 windows ago we did the Defoe deal. They allowed all reason to go out the window and it was a rubbish decision. We honestly would have beem better nit having signed him. Same might be true now in that rather panic we just sit tight and rely on good caoching and show a bit of faith in u23s.

it’s like the world of journalism has forgotten we exist. Like an alternative universe. Nothing is happening but nobody is commenting on that.

Even the local journalists are talking like fans rather than journalists

In previous windows you’ve usually had local journos saying ‘we’re done’ or some such. Absolute shambles if we’re still relying on Simms.
 
What time was it last year when we actually knew Defoe was at the academy? Like what time was Wee Phillie knocking on his window?
 
I think the club are going to roll out at least one last minute signing. Probably already done.

The club is being ran the best it's been for the past decade.
We've had a horrendous injury list this season and imo we're punching above our weight and yet there are some fans we seem hell bent on exaggerating the negatives when in all honesty there's very few negatives around.
If all clubs management could run their business with the blessing of hindsight that some fans have then they'd all be in with a shout of winning their respective leagues.
KTF and stay calm it's the only way to stay sane.
