The club are working on long term targets to improve the team as opposed to filling it with plodders to appease fans so that they get a "signing" ??

Great news! Glad to see the club are doing it properly.

Exciting 10 days or so, it would seem.

Exactly, so great that we have a short and long term plan in place.

I reckon:
Lihadji
Ekwah
Nemeth
Cresswell

and one of Simms/Undav on loan.

Wright (permanently) and Dajaku to leave on loan.

Re: striker search - apparently we balked at Leeds' wage split for Gelhardt early on, so I think we can forget Undav, who's on a similar amount at Brighton according to an online source. Looking like all eggs in one basket for Simms re-loan and one of the youngsters mentioned recently. Nemeth being the most promising option.

That piece on the echo is a copy and paste job from a ****e guesswork website that is spouting absolute bollocks and shouldn't be posted as it's inaccurate and then taken as gospel. What a **** rag that's turned in to.
I bet the majority of players don't even know exactly how much other players are getting so I don't know how the press do

I'm not claiming to be ITK? I presume most of this has already been mentioned on this forum and is common knowledge, I was just putting my two cents in on the topic. To qualify what I said -
apparently we balked at Leeds' wage split for Gelhardt early on
There was plenty said about this on Twitter recently which everyone here is likely to have already seen while following events. Some tweets saying Leeds wanted us to put up 45% of his £26k wages is all I was referring to.
...so I think we can forget Undav, who's on a similar amount at Brighton according to an online source*.
*Good old salarysport.com. You may have heard of it.

It's the general consensus here and a safe assumption to make based on current discourse from your good selves.
Nemeth being the most promising option.
My opinion of course, based on others' homework on the lad; I'd prefer him to the others being mentioned.
