I've a feeling Nemeth will end up here on Deadline day. Genk playing hardship to get a better deal IMO.
Got to be careful about taking news from that forum. Loads say on there that the deal looks nailed on for us, but base it on absolutely nothing.
I get that it is frustrating, however the club and recruitment team have shown in recent times that they keep their cards close to their chest and have pulled off fantastic business. We've got to trust that is the case, and come Feb 1st, I'm sure we will all be satisfied.
Good (except at Brighton) 2015–2017 TSV Havelse 67 (32) 2017–2018 Eintracht Braunschweig II 18 (9) 2018–2020 SV Meppen 69 (23) 2020–2022 Union SG 51 (35) 2022– Brighton & Hove Albion 8 (0) 2022 → Union SG (loan) 12 (8)
That’s is good. Forgetting his stint at Brighton he’s scored 107 in 217 appearances. And he’s done it consistently - he’s not a one season wonder
He's a class finisher and he has decent work rate as well. Can play wider left as well and he has decent physicality. Would love if it was a permanent deal as he's at the age where loans are pointless for him
Those clubs early in his career are 3rd Div I think. But Union SG finished second in Belgium first Div one of the seasons he was there and it looks like he has picked up where he left off before Brighton.
The Sunderland echo today has a piece about players wages and gives out the 12 best paid players and their weekly wage. Interestingly, Bass gets more than Patterson but maybe appearance payments gets him above Bass. Stewart is not listed. Clark is our highest paid at £15,000 We often see claims that players are getting £x per week which prove to be way out, see Dajaku claim earlier. It may guide some of our thinking when it comes to transfers and what we can offer. Pity there’s no Stewart details but IF £15,000 is our top limit then he should be offered at least that.
That piece on the echo is a copy and paste job from a ****e guesswork website that is spouting absolute bollocks and shouldn't be posted as it's inaccurate and then taken as gospel. What a **** rag that's turned in to.
