I don’t agree with his or the forums approach but I don’t think he needs to or should. It’s his boards so he can run it how he likes. If that drives people away it’s ****. But him coming in here and explaining or even just commenting would just prolong this weird behaviour anyway

I rarely post on here but feel I can’t ignore the use of truly offensive language that is more or less hate speech. The individuals using such language should be utterly ashamed, I’d be livid if my 14 year old son used such archaic and offensive language never mind adults. A staggering show of weakness from brb who seems to have some kind of sychophantic crush on the perpetrators.

What an absolute ****ing **** show tonight has been....and none it caused by anyone one here.

i said in the Happy New Year thread this is a cracking forum, but any forum is only as good as the posters who post on it...and this one wins hands down.

Chunk will be a big miss on here, and I've a feeling a few more might, sadly, choose to do the same.

Some of the language used leaves a lot to be desired. Let's be honest, no one really gives a **** about the odd swear words, but using derogatory words/terms to describe a person's disability really is beyond the pale. I know of two posters on here, one who seemed to be the target of the initial witch-hunt, that could be highly offended by it. I would like to think that they know the vast majority of us on here would be as disgusted as them by the language used, and in no way condone the use of it.

Ive been struggling with something since New Years Day morning...something involving a 999 call for an ambulance.
I was gonna post on the "things that aren't worth a new thread" about it...just to talk about it, but I don't think I would bother now.

Over several years they've managed to post nothing but the same worn out old GIFs, internet clichés and endless personal insults they mistakenly think is witty banter. It's really sad when grown men spend hours posting about absolutely nothing, sadder when they believe it's not totally pointless and sadder still when the site owner joins in.

It shouldn’t need to be that way mate.

Grown men dishing out abuse to other grown men behind the safety of their phone/computer for ‘banter’ is baffling.

I hadn’t posted on here for a long time before this week and it never used to be like that.

I’d rather stick them on ignore and crack on posting with like minded Sunderland fans who behave like adults.
