I think our recruitment team have earned our trust. If they want him, let's trust them rather than fans@FellTop spoke to couple of Peterborough lads this morning regarding JCH. Not exactly glowing reports, pretty much as I said yesterday described him. I'd stay well clear.
If Patto is on £700 you can cancel your happiness for the foreseeable future mate. Not just on here mate. Some peo0e outside of this board too.
They think we should be paying him premier league wages. I’m just happy with the progress we, as a club, have made since KLD took over. Great to watch, proper business model with little risk factors. Keep it going is all I say
I agree some of the numbers make no sense. Point I’m making is we can’t pay people the 70k a week some seem to demand we should pay Stewart!!If Patto is on £700 you can cancel your happiness for the foreseeable future mate.
My friend employs cleaners here for £18.50 an hour + all meals and all travel expenses works out around £850 a week, Patto is in the wrong job.I agree some of the numbers make no sense. Point I’m making is we can’t pay people the 70k a week some seem to demand we should pay Stewart!!
Senior Nurses are on more than Patto apparently and they’re going on strike!!
Sustainability is one thing but we aren't going to retain many decent players for very long if the wage ceiling is 10k, local lads possibly for a bit longer but that's it.
I'd also be very surprised if the likes of Clarke and Ballard are on less than 10K.

Most on here think we are a massive club, we are as a fan base and as a building structure i have followed these everywhere since I was a young Un, we are going through a massive restructuring process, but if we don't get it right we will go back years, this new model will take 4 years to iron out, the fans want it done instantly.
But they want KLD to chuck his own money at it, he will not.
Does anyone know how much he got on Dec 21st as a trust payment ????.
Scary.
Fair enough. Just going by what punters see week in week out. Very much doubt we're in for him anyway.I think our recruitment team have earned our trust. If they want him, let's trust them rather than fans
From my understanding they are. No player that we own are into double figures. But that's only my post. I think that's why we will get the younger players with hunger to play but agreements they can move onto bigger contracts in the PL if it works out.
Maybe wrong but that's what I was told at the start of the year.
That said, I am not an accountant and it doesn't interest me. Fan as a priority , so want to see the best players possible , playing the best football. We seem to be doing ok, but we are on a cusp of questioning our equilibrium IMO. Tilt the scales to keep best players and re invest or stick to plan. Be interesting.
Very happy to stay in the ChampionshipAll fair enough like. But if £10k is the max we pay, then very clearly Stewart and others, when it comes to their time, will be off.
What that means, how long it will last, whether it can be changed, how far it can rake a club, is all to be seen. And as you say, interesting.
But aside from the recently relegated clubs, I'd imagine the turnover here is at least competitive with most others, and probably better than most, though we haven't sold any players for profit in a good while.
Time will tell and all that. But the awful truth is, and it's a genuine paradox, that though we all obviously want to win every game, the idea of playing in the PL is bloody ghastly. It is so obviously bent beyond redemption.

Agreed, corruption, politics and money, money, moneyBut the awful truth is, and it's a genuine paradox, that though we all obviously want to win every game, the idea of playing in the PL is bloody ghastly. It is so obviously bent beyond redemption.
That because he was basically on an u23 contract when he broke in to the first team, then they gave him a new contract.Look at what we are paying Patterson our No1 keeper, £700 + clean sheet money, Fing darlo pay that

anyone who believes that our top earners are not on a decent 5 figure sums per week, or that patterson is playing for peanuts is simply deluded.
