We’ve only got 14 games left and we’re out the FA Cup so in terms of pressure on the squad, I don’t think that’s going to be too straining for them. Main thing is Ralph continues to improve us as he has been doing.

I’m surprised that people are surprised/disappointed. The time for that was end of December when they told us. We were told Ralph is here whether we stay up or go down and we were told it was u likely we would sign anyone. The best we were offered before the window was, “none, maybe one if it was the right one.”
They told us none and that’s what I expected. We know it’s a gamble and theclub seemed prepared before the window to take it.

If we stay up great. I think cedtic go and not bringing anyone in ,at least a rb to replace cedric,is a mistake. (I think we will stay up)
I note that most who are less than happy with our lack of activity are so due to our league position and I can understand that I suppose. However, I don’t even see us as in the mix any more. I really don’t, such has been the impact that Ralph has had. It seems clear to me that not only has he changed our approach and our performances but that he is the type of character that will only see that as the beginning. It’s evident that the squad have bought in to both him and his methods and that all points to a rise up the table to me. And I say this without my red and white tinted spectacles.

I'm hoping/thinking that come the summer, there will be players that will sign because of Ralph. I think we will stay up on the basis of what I have seen and what the players have achieved thus far. No doubt it will be tough, but we have developed a resilience that has been lacking for some time.
I do have a slight disappointment that we didn't sign anyone as there are some frailties, but It also means that Ralph has faith in his players to do the job. Summer could be fun!

No surprises then.........can’t remember the last jan window where we didn’t buy anyone! Looks like Ralph has got proper control of the football side of things which can’t be a bad thing. Perhaps at last they will go for better quality buys. Just for the record I’m not talking about getting the types that the top 4 like to spend.
Vester, Bedders, JWP and Oriol are like new signings since Ralph came in not to mention the plethora of young talent that he has introduced to the first team.
I can now reveal he was in fact at Fulham(press and sky didn’t even know) wages on offer were a factor and they ended up only wanting to loan ........but Charlie will probably sign elsewhere in the summer.
And who knows, may yet score some goals that push us up the table!!
Lemina, Bertrand, Yoshida and Obafemi will all be back fairly soon too. We have enough to see us through until May.
Slightly disagree; always thought Bednarek looked good and never understood why he was not getting more playing time. Was reckoned to be the standout young player in Poland when he joined us, yet limited opportunity before now.
Vestie, looks an expensive mistake to me, looks more settled in a three CB setup, still looks mentally slow to me; far too reactive. That said, has improved under RH.
All depends on how they play until the summer. But nearly every player has been told they are playing for their futures. It's why players not commited have been shipped out already.
