Would be a great swap deal Hoedt for Sisto anyone ?

Sisto has been absolutely awful all season. Awful to the point where he was dropped from the starting lineup for months, and seemed incapable of placing a pass or controlling a ball on Saturday. Awful to the point where Celta Vigo fans are talking about whether he needs a loan back to Denmark to find himself.

Some thing must be a miss, he couldn't of capitulated that quickly without some deeper reasoning

Was talking to a Saints supporting friend the other day and the convo turned to whether Saints had actually put pen to paper on paying Liverpool any of the £20 million... could we pull out....?

Whilst I rate Ings, he doesn’t seem a very natural Hasenhüttl type player.... I know he was coming back from injury, but he was out on his feet from about 35 mins on Saturday... with injuries like his, top flight high press is never going to show his knees any mercy and if Ralph is targeting young, pacy players then again it would seem at odds with Ings.

For me, is our squad better with him in.... yes, so I would rather we keep, but in the financial situation we are in, £20 million is a lot....

Where do people get financial problems from? As far as I can see, the club only need to sell first because of the squad size. Have I missed a big financial results release?

I think the financial situation is prudence as much as anything else.... easing the bloated squad off the wage bill is one way of doing that....

You do realise that since Ralph arrived Ings has come back from two injuries.
His level of fitness will be well below that of the others, yet on Saturday he more than showed that he is our best striker, with his movement on and off the ball.
He was getting into goal scoring positions and he was interchanging positions with Redmond which kept the Everton defence guessing And it was him coming deep and making the through ball for Redmond that created our second goal, albeit via an Everton boot.
I think he will, fitness allowing, fit very well into Ralph’s way of playing.

I realise that.... I just don’t think his fitness will be up to the week in, week out that’s all... I saw his runs the other day and there is more to intelligent runs than speed.... I get that too....

He has always struck me as an attacking midfielder that can lead the line if needed and I’m not sure that’s what we need. Anyhoo, wasn’t my thought originally, just got me thinking...
