Guillem Balague says Leeds are on the verge of signing Casilla (goalkeeper) from Real Madrid, so not sure if there is anything in the Forster to Leeds rumours.

FF was on £80k/wk but it’s been mentioned recently he “may” have taken a drop but personally, I find that a bit hard to believe. Anyway, do the math & even at £60k/wk that equates to £3M/year & he’s got 2-3 years left on his contract. Don’t think we’ll be actually “selling” him to anyone. If he does go it’ll be more a case of how much will it cost us. Think that’s why Alex McC rumours make a bit more sense. Would be nice to see one of them go to free up more for King R.
 
More Leeds random rumours. My mate who supports them just messaged me to say there is a rumour their end about us wanting to sign Jack Clarke from them. He is an 18 year old winger who has started to break into their first team recently, probably just bullshit like whenever a young player breaks into a team they get linked with a bigger club pretty quickly.

Would be a weird one. His name was posted on SaintsWeb last night by a user, as someone we should look at signing.

Is your mate on SaintsWeb? <laugh>

I can't see that a homegrown Yorkshire lad who is getting games for the club he supports, who happen to be en-route to Premier League promotion, would be at all interested in leaving Elland Road right now.

I've seen him play live a handful of times for Wales and looks a centre half of real potential. Particularly good on the ball. I've no doubt he will be a premier league centre half.

I'd have real reservations about signing him as a plug and play starter given our current league position, though. More one to introduce gently.
