Its really tough these days for us United fans, being 2nd in the table, and only having 2 Cups sat in the trophy cabinet.

We all want you to feel sorry for us <laugh>

Who is challenging the top 6? Nobody, realistically.

Everton and Leicester are best of the rest, neither look anywhere near being able to challenge the top 6 though.

They're seventh and won the league two seasons ago. They're exactly what he said they were, the only realistic challengers to the current top six.

With exactly the same number points as Burnley, nearly double figures behind the top 6 and an improving Everton who would have been above them if Allardyce was there from the start. None of them are realistic challengers to the top 6 at this moment in time.

But Leicester would have had more points if Puel was there at the start.

If's and buts are irrelevant.

Leicester are credible because they won the league two seasons ago. Everton and Burnley didn't.

But at the same time, it's gonna be bloody hard for them to make that step up again, seeing as they are selling.

Still a fantastic achievement by them 2 years ago. no one can ever take that away from them.

I don't understand. That was two seasons ago. If they were pushing the top 6, then that would make them credible. They aren't though.

They're also potentially losing their best player.

You genuinly don't think that them having won the league as recently as they did adds credibility to them? It's not like it was ten years ago, it was two.

They've won it more recently than any of the top six bar Chelsea and currently sit 7th. They are therefore the most credible potential challenger to the top six. I can't see how that can really be questioned.

I don't want to get childish, but you said this before the post you have highlighted.

Oh, and making mistakes with your posts. Still rattled <rofl>

... right now I'd agree ... but we have some great potential young talent coming through and personally (and admitted bias) think we are currently better placed than Everton ... and this is why ... Iheanacho (21) Gray (21) Diabate (22) Ndidi (22) Maguire (23) Chilwell (21) Barnes (20) all played against Peterborough in the Cup... and as Puel said ... "the future for Leicester City" ... never been a better time to be an 'optimistic' Leicester fan <cheers>
