Sanchez is definitely a better player, but they only have him for 6 months, where as they could get Mkitaryan signed up to a long term contract.

I thought the deal was 35 million + Mkiitaryan. Or is it the value of Mkitaryan, whatever that is? Plus the extra cash to bump it up to 35million?

If it's the first deal we are paying out an awful lot of money for a player who will be on a free in the summer. Not forgetting the 350k a week in wages, signing on fee and agent fee.

Seems a straight swap is on the cards. I'm ok with that, whether Mkhitaryan is good or not is irrelevant he doesn't work in our system and Jose doesn't seem to be going anywhere any time soon.

No doubt that Sanchez will be getting a fairly heavy pay day for signing on though, if it happens that is.
